Have you been looking for animal books that hold a biblical worldview? Well, then Marvels of Creation: Magnificent Mammals is the book for you and your kids! Buddy and Kay Davis did a wonderful job putting this book together and we are thankful to have found it.

Finding any book that remotely deals with science from a biblical worldview is hard these days. But, this book does not disappoint.

The book isn’t too long and each 2 page spread has a photo of the animal your discussing with lots of information packed in. It also includes a little factoid section for each animal that’s great for using on zoo visits!

We really enjoyed the appendices as well at the back of the book. These include a glossary of terms which are great for vocabulary lessons and it includes a section showing tracks and prints from animals featured in the book. We loved this for art lessons with tracing and cutting out prints. You also can make a game out of it by trying to guess which print belongs to which animal.

We LOVE Buddy Davis in our house! I’m pretty sure we have almost all of the books he has written at this point. Our daughter really hopes to meet him one day! He and Answers in Genesis have been a blessing to our family. He has been recovering from some health problems, so please keep him in your prayers.

All in all, this is a great little book. We would absolutely recommend Marvels of Creation: Magnificent Mammals. There are two other books like this one on birds and sea creatures that we hope to review soon! And don’t forget to check out our kids/homeschool resources page for more reviews and recommendations.

Soli Deo Gloria dear ones!
